I cannot begin to describe how horrible I think these drawings are.....
They looked so much prettier in my mind,
but once I actually make them then they will be very nice.
The Red Dress is a Corset bodice with red embroidery
the top is going to be crushed velvet, and the floor length skirt black satin. The corset ties in the back with red ribbon.
Shrt_Dress2 is just above knee length black satin. Red ribbon criss crosses in the back of the dress and is attached at the stomach to the front of the dress, sort of like corset lacing but with more breathing room
The bottom is slitted with a red ribbon criss crossing between the slit as well
I will post pictures of the finished dresses when I am done sewing them and prove to you that they are not as hideous as my poor art skills make them look.
Its my first time actually sketching anything out before I make it so any tips or comments would wonderful!
but be gentle
I really like the lines of the dress, how it flows well. The mesh areas also seem to flow into the design flawlessly...this would be really neat in real life!

chorus from "Oh What a Beautiful Morning", and then promptly forgot the rest of the words.
If he can make it, there is hope for the rest of us.
